David McGregor

David McGregor is a 1972 Edinburgh graduate. A native of Elgin, he has worked in Ellon for over 29 years. He has a particular interest in surgery but still enjoys the great variety of mixed practice work.

Robert Loggie

Robert Loggie is a 1980 Glasgow graduate. He has worked in Methlick since 1982 and became a partner in 1988 and sole proprietor since 1995, before merging with Ellon vets to form Glenythan. In 1989 he achieved the certificate in Small Animal Dermatology, being the first practioner in the UK to do so from a mixed animal practice. He sees many referred cases from all over Grampian. His other main interests are pig medicine and dairy herd fertility.

Alastair Kemp

Alastair Kemp is a 1983 graduate of Royal Dick in Edinburgh. He is specially interested in homeopathic medicine and treats all species by this alternative method as well as conventionally.

Heather Taylor

Heather Taylor graduated from Glasgow in 2000. She enjoys all aspects of mixed practice especially farm work having a small herd of goats some of which she exhibits at agricultural shows.

Jill Shand

Jill Shand is a Glasgow graduate from 2001. She is keen on the variety of a mixed practice and is well used to cattle and sheep having been brought up on a farm near Turriff.

Lyndsay Ross

Lyndsay graduated from Glasgow in 2007 and joined us in November of that year. She has family connections in our area but was brought up in Rothes, Morayshire.

Emilie Pombourcq

Emilie joined us in April 2008. She is a graduate of Toulouse Veterinary School in France and spent her last year of study in Prince Edward Island in Canada. She performed locum work in numerous regions of France before coming to work in Scotland.
